Personal Safety for Professionals
Join Dan Elliott in an interactive training that addresses the personal safety risks and challenges associated with human services and social work practice. Strategies for reducing risks will be shared with a focus on challenging or potentially threatening situations -in person or virtually-that involve upset, emotionally charged, or angry youth & families.

Conflict is a risk factor for many families and professionals and de-escalation is a known protective factor. Learn tools for assessment of risk and best practices in violence prevention, intervention, and de-escalation that can be applied to professional and personal life.
