Tackling Stigma
Join us on March 11th at 3 pm for the following training opportunity facilitated by the Addiction Policy Forum. After the training, stay to learn more about the Butler County Prevention Coalition & Addiction Taskforce and what we are doing to support our community across the continuum of care.

Stigma is a direct barrier to accessing substance use disorder (SUD) treatment among individuals who have a SUD and impacts the quality of healthcare delivery given by medical professionals. It also results in a lack of general public support for legislation that provides meaningful reform and fiscal support to prevention, treatment, and recovery.

This training will discuss:
● The different types of stigma
● How stigma impacts addiction
● Ways to combat stigma
